Mouth-watering Pulled Ham


You’ve heard of pulled pork, now let us introduce you to this, sweet, salty, succulent melt in the mouth goodness. And cooking it just doesn’t get easier, just look at the no fuss recipe.

Pork shoulder (97%), Salt, Sugar, Preservatives (sodium nitrite, sodium nitrate), Antioxidant (sodium ascorbate)

You will need:
3 - 4kg Shoulder Ham Joint
3 tbsp Sweet Chilli Sauce
3 tbsp Demerara Sugar

  1. Place the Ham joint in a roasting tin and cook in the oven for 5 - 8 hrs at 130oC

  2. When cooked remove skin from the ham leaving as much fat on as possible. Now score the fat in a criss-cross pattern/style

  3. Spread the sweet chilli sauce all over the ham and then sprinkle with the sugar

  4. Roast for a further 20 minutes in the oven at 180oC

  5. Leave to rest for twenty minutes then pull apart with a fork

Serve with homemade coleslaw and sweet potato fries. Serious food heaven, good luck resisting 2nds, 3rds and 4ths!
